2026 Summer Institute Job Application Portal

The Onward 2 High School Summer Institute, an initiative of the John H. and Cynthia Lee Smet Foundation, is hosting identical programs at four locations in 2026. The program includes the same experiences with STEAM-based curriculum, guest speakers and field trips. The Summer Institute is seeking students with a target GPA of 3.0+. 

Our Summer Institute sites at Bishop Mora Salesian High School and Sacred Heart High School will be undergoing campus renovations during the summer! Students will experience the new campuses beginning Summer Institute 2027. These improvements will help create an even better experience for Salesian, Sacred Heart, and Summer Institute students in future years!

Please provide at least one professional reference. For Program Assistant applicants, a professional reference can be a past employer, Onward Scholar Program Director, etc.
